Abstract

These 10 DVD video recordings document the 2006 "Wise Development on Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore" lecture series held at Salisbury University. Sponsors included Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Friends of the Nanticoke River, Nanticoke Watershed Alliance, MD Coastal Bays Program, and the Wicomico Environmental Trust. Speakers included Russ Brinsfield (Mayor of Vienna, Maryland), Joel Dunn (The Conservation Fund), Alan Girard (Chesapeake Bay Foundation), Dr. Sara Taylor Rogers (MD Center for Agroecology), Molly Foraker (Salisbury University), Sandy Coyman (Worcester County Comprehensive Planning), Bill Jenkins (Environmental Protection Agency), Eddie Johnson (Wicomico County Extension Office), and Bill Satterfield (Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc.).
