Abstract

This collection features 96 recently released comics from Latin American authors, which were featured at the Latino Comic Expo in Long Beach, California in 2023. These comics cover a wide range of topics, including superheroes, horror, crime, and children's stories. Many are self-published, though some have been published by established companies.

Scope and Content Note

These 96 comics were written and illustrated by a range of Latin American authors. Such authors include Javier Hernandez, Kayden Phoenix, and Jules Rivera, to name a few. These comics cover a broad range of topics, with some having a dark horror and crime bent, while others are about princesses or LGBTQ love stories. The comics showcase Latin American culture and subcultures.
