Included are many National War Front pamphlets and broadsides from 1942 to 1945, 11 posters describing India's involvement in the war in multiple languages, two British fundraising posters, 1944 issues of the Far East Bulletin, 1943 to 1944 issues of Behind the Headlines, 1944 issues of Talking Points , daily background and broadcast broadsheets from 1942, and other miscellaneous ephemera dating between 1942 and 1945.

The Serrell Family Collection documents the personal and family history of Andrew Serrell (1923-2018) including the Serrell family, Demetre family, Odier family, and other ancestors. Personal items relating to Andrew Serrell's career in the U.S. Navy from 1941 to 1974 include pilot logs, photographs, naval orders, and other service-related documents. Serrell's paternal family, including the puppeteer Edith Serrell, lived primarily in Dobbs Ferry, New York and are documented through photographs, correspondence, and other documents. Serrell's maternal family--the Demetre and Odier families--frequently went back and forth between France, New Orleans, and New York City. This branch of the family is heavily documented through family histories, correspondence, photographs, drawings, and business papers. There are also three framed portrait paintings and several artifacts.
Sketchbook of Virginia Landscapes

This notebook contains 38 pencil sketches that were drawn by an unidentified soldier in Company F of the 1st Kentucky Regiment. The regiment shipped out from Newport News, Virginia, for Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, on August 3, 1898, to fight in the Spanish-American War. The sketches were likely drawn after their return to Virginia four months later, capturing scenes traveling north from Old Point, up Hampton Creek, and along the Potomac River until reaching the Soldiers’ Home in Washington, D.C.

The history of southern Dorchester County is immortalized in these Digital Video Disc (DVD) recordings of presentations and feature information about Hooper’s Island, Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, decoy carving, hunting traditions, songs and local family history.
